Sony MZ-R900
Offered in Silver, White, Blue and Red.
First MDLP portable recorder, but not NetMD. Record battery life at release. Also supports personal disc memory to remember playback/audio settings for up to 20 discs.
First portable with program play mode. Has features such as date stamp, digital recording level controls, 8 step bass/treble settings, and melody timer.
Can be set to do end search by default for recordings (check manual for details).
Came with backlit remote.
The MZ-R900 seems to have sold well
